Privacy Policy — Fluente Teacher

1. Who controls the data
Fluente Teacher (fluente.work) and the blog (blog.fluente.work) are operated by Luis Filipe, a natural person providing the service professionally.
Access, correction, deletion, and other privacy requests: [email protected].
Tax identifiers and fiscal details appear only on payment receipts / invoices, not in this policy.
2. Scope
This policy covers:
- the Teacher product at
fluente.work; - the blog at
blog.fluente.work; - cookies and similar technologies on those sites.
We process personal data under Brazil’s LGPD and, where applicable to visitors in the EU/EEA/UK, principles aligned with the GDPR.

We do not send conversation content, voice transcripts, or exercise answers to analytics tools.
4. Legal bases
- Contract / service performance — account, lessons, payments.
- Legal obligation — minimum fiscal and billing retention.
- Legitimate interests — security, fraud prevention, product improvement (no optional cookies without consent).
- Consent — analytics and marketing cookies; marketing messages where required.
You can withdraw cookie consent anytime via cookie preferences on the sites.
5. Processors and third parties
We may use providers that process data on our instructions or as independent payment controllers:
- Matomo (self-hosted analytics) — usage metrics, with consent;
- Mautic (email / blog personalization) — with marketing consent;
- Google Tag Manager / Google tags (when active on the product) — measurement and ads, with consent and Google Consent Mode;
- Stripe and Efí — payment processing;
- Google (OAuth login and, if used, font CDN);
- Meta / Facebook (OAuth login);
- hosting and email infrastructure needed to run the service.
6. Cookies
Details: /cookies. Cookie consent is shared across fluente.work and blog.fluente.work (.fluente.work domain).
7. International transfers
Some providers may process data outside Brazil (e.g. Stripe, Google). We use appropriate safeguards under LGPD/GDPR (contractual terms, provider policies, need to provide the service).
8. Retention
- Account and product use: while the account exists and as needed after closure for security or law.
- Payments / tax: legal periods for fiscal documents and receipts.
- Optional cookies: per preference (long acceptance; necessary-only ≈ 3 days so we can ask again).
- Technical logs: short period for security and operations.
9. Your rights
Under LGPD (and GDPR where it applies), you may request confirmation of processing, access, correction, anonymization, blocking or deletion of unnecessary data, portability where applicable, information about sharing, and withdrawal of consent.
Write to [email protected]. We will respond within a reasonable time. You may also contact Brazil’s ANPD or your local supervisory authority.
How to delete your Fluente Teacher account
Email [email protected] from the address on the account. We will delete or anonymize account data within a reasonable time, except records we must keep for tax or legal reasons (for example payment receipts).
Signing in with Google or Facebook only authenticates you. Revoking access in Google or Meta settings stops future logins; it does not delete your Fluente Teacher account — still write to [email protected].
10. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures (HTTPS, session cookie restrictions, access controls). No system is risk-free.
11. Children
The service is intended for users who can contract, or with a guardian’s consent/authorization where required by law.

We may update this policy. The date above is the current version. Material changes will appear on this page.
